This
is a low relief urethane kit that represents an apartment building
in a near west suburb of Chicago. It can also be used as a hotel
front (no hotel signs are supplied). The building is circa 1920's
and sports decorative appointments.
Windows
are cast separately, which means they are much easier to paint than
when cast into the wall. The
masters are hand made with a new brick technique that gives a low
relief, so the mortar lines are not too deep yet deep enough for
drybrushing or other mortaring techniques.
The
finished model is 12-3/8" wide by 11-3/4" tall by 1-3/4"
deep. Kit includes paper window treatments, clear styrene, styrene
for the rooves, complete assembly and painting instructions and
date plates. Previous urethane kit building experience is recommended.
