Most of the walls shown below are made using laser-engraved illustration board and 3D printed windows and details that I designed. I make the signs with custom designed adhesive vinyl masks.

One room school in O scale. Completely scratch built, full interior, lights. Laser cut basswood, 3D printed details. This model was granted a Peoples' Choice award at the St. Louis NMRA national convention. A slightly modified Ameri-towne kit with partial interior, 3D printed fire escape, and Road Champs truck lettered to the business. Ghost sign made using cut vinyl mask, paint and pastels.
A grain mill in O scale rebuilt from the client's model. I made the wheel and flume, and provided the thin cedar shingles on the roof parts. The wheel is powered. A flour mill in O scale. Laser cut basswood walls, windows and doors. Roof made with rusted manila folder pieces. Follows a plan by Bill Livingston in a 1952 HO Model Trains magazine, which came from a 1939 Ideal kit.

7. My second tribute to Frank Ellison. An O scale back wall loosely taken from his E&L Brown Milling company building. 8. An industry back wall of my own design from the 1900s (all brick and stone, no concrete). Features a ghost sign and two types of fire escapes. O scale.
9. Another O scale wall of my own design, made purposely large enough to accommodate the signage. All the signs are from real signs; Lill was a coal company in Chicago. An O scale 3" relief kit, including interior details and signs. Urethane and 3D printed parts. Email me if interested.
O scale cold storage brick building based on a prototype structure. 2" relief, illustration board and basswood, 3D printed windows. 10. Byer's Plymouth DeSoto dealer based on a real building. Real one is 2 story. O scale 3" relief with lights. Laser cut/engraved illustration board and 3D printed windows. I also made a working (lighted) sign which was for sale separately. Brick is painted to represent textured face brick.
11. An industry back wall in O scale in illustration board and 3D printed details. Signs are painted on using multiple masks. Fire escape is my design. A "tryptic" (3-paneled artwork) in O scale of laser cut and engraved illustration board and 3D printed parts. All 3 based on same file but one is mirrored and one has a full height bay window added. 2025
My rendition of a retro garage in northeastern Ohio, part of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, in O scale. Illustration board with 3D printed windows and details and other materials. O scale Edie's diner (named for my wife). The front is from a Ritz Kitz Town Diner kit while the remaining walls are laser engraved illustration board and 3D printed windows. The sign is built up from card. An old DSL Shops O scale Goldblatt's store front (my own design) cast in urethane and hand painted. 3" relief walls are laser engraved illustration board.
